Ian Morison 1943-2024

Ian passed away peacefully on 13 April 2024 (aged 80) at his home in Macclesfield with close family at his side. Following a private family committal at West Park, a service of remembrance was held at All Saints church so well attended by current and former staff of Jodrel Bank as well as members of the Society for Popular Astronomy and Macclesfield Astronomical Society to name just a couple of the organisations represented that he was so actively involved with.

During his final weeks, Ian and his wife Judy were so wonderfully supported by the staff from East Cheshire Hospice @Home to whom our family would like to extend our huge thanks and appreciate any donations made in his memory. DM
