It is now well known that earlier (up to ~2022) GSO Ritchey-Chrétiens (sold under many brand names) suffer from a too short baffle tube which allows stray light to fall on the sensor.
Happily, there is now a simple solution in that First Light Optics now sell baffle extenders from £25 for the 3 inch RC.
However, The latest versions have a tapered extension tube added to remove the problem so one will not be needed. In mine, the tapered extension screws into the initial section so an extension piece was not needed.
